Introduction of the New G-Class, Model Series 463
Diesel engine fuel tank
In addition to the newly developed steel tank of the
G-Class, the G 350 BLUETEC is also equipped with a
plastic tank with a volume of 15 liters, for carrying the
pollution-reducing reaction agent AdBlue
®
.
This tank is in front of the SCR catalytic converter,
viewed in the direction of travel. The filler neck for the
pollution-reducing reaction agent AdBlue
®
is also
under the tank next to the conventional filler neck.

Note
As soon as the AdBlue
®
supply drops to a mini-
mum, the message "Refill AdBlue" appears on the
multifunction display. A warning tone also sounds.
When the message "Refill AdBlue, no start in
...km" appears, the vehicle can only be driven for
the displayed distance. It is then no longer
possible to start the engine.
