TROUBLESHOOTING
The steam mop will not
turn on.
• The steam mop should only be plugged into a 230 V AC
electrical socket.
• Check whether the RCD or any fuse has blown.
• Contact Jula’s service department if problems remain.
The steam mop will not
produce steam.
• Make sure that there is water in the water tank. If not, add water.
• Follow the instructions for cleaning the nozzle if steam output
deteriorates.
• If you have already plugged in the steam mop, unplug and try
a different socket. This may reset the standby mode.
Cannot select steam
setting/indicator LED
light flashes.
• Add water to the tank and press the ON/Standby button to
restart.
• Contact Jula’s service department if problems remain.
The steam mop may
leave white spots on
the floor after steaming.
• Check to see if your microfiber pad is soaked through. Unplug
the steam mop and replace the microfiber pad.
• Make sure the microfiber pad is attached correctly.
• Do not leave the steam mop with a damp microfiber pad
on a floor for a lengthy period of time. If tap water is used,
we recommend changing to distilled water.
• Make sure that the cap is fitted correctly on the water tank.
Floors are not
entirely clean
(stains, streaky, etc.).
• The microfiber pad might be dirty. Replace the pad.
• If you washed the pad with powder detergent, then it may be
damaged and has to be replaced.
• You might have left the steam mop in the same spot for too
long. This may be residue from cleaner agents used previously
on the floor. Use the steam mop a number of times and check
that the residues disappear. If this does not help, you should
clean the floor with water. Allow the water to dry and then use
the steam mop again with a clean pad. The residues normally
disappear after one or two cleanings. A more stubborn stain may
require you to rinse the floor with a mix of one part vinegar and
two parts water.
The steam mop
is hard to push
• Make sure the microfiber pad is attached correctly. Check to see
if the microfiber pad is excessively dirty. If so, replace it.
