NATURAL GAS TO LPG CONVERSION 

4.10.1

 

General Conversion Information 

WARNING 

This conversion kit shall be installed by a qualified service agency in accordance with the manufacturer’s 

instructions and all applicable codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. If the information 

in these instructions is not followed exactly, a fire, explosion or production of carbon monoxide may result 

causing property damage, personal injury, or loss of life. The qualified service agency is responsible for the 

proper installation of this kit. The installation is not proper and complete until the operation of the 

converted appliance is checked as specified in the owner instructions supplied with the kit. 

WARNING: Failure to position the parts in accordance with these diagrams or failure to use only parts 

specifically approved with this appliance may result in property damage or personal injury.

Caution: The electrical supply to the fireplace must be turned off prior to performing the conversion.  The 

gas supply must be shut off prior to disconnecting the electrical power. 

 

Orifice sizes requirement 

A Natural Gas to LPG conversion kit #HA-82-00411 must be ordered and installed to convert the FV33i Fireplace to burn LPG. 
LP Conversion Kit # HA-82-00411 contains the following parts:  One motorized LP pressure regulator #907.012 and two cap 

orifices (drill #3/64”). 

 

Procedure to Convert Fireplace to Burn LPG 

This Fireplace Insert arrives from the factory ready to burn natural gas. If you intend to burn unit with LPG, it is required that you 

convert this fireplace and its pressure regulator, pilot orifice slider position and burner orifices prior to placing this fireplace in its 

fire-place cavity.  See diagrams, on this page, and follow these instructions to prepare this fireplace for conversion to LPG.
