5. Adjust EQ when playing music by pressing and holding the Skip Next 

:

 button for 2 seconds then release; there will be a slight pause in the 

music. This will select the next EQ mode and cycle as follows: Bass 
Boost > Treble Boost > Default.

Answer a Phone Call

1. When there is an incoming call, the music will automatically pause. Pick 

up the call by pressing Power/Phone button; press again to end the call.

2. To Redial the last called phone number, press the Skip Back/Redial

button twice if your portable device supports this function.

3. Reject an incoming call by pressing the Skip Next 

:

 button once.

4. Transfer calls between Bluetooth Headphones and your smartphone by 

pressing Skip Next 

:

 button once. 

5. Press Skip Next 

:

 button once again and the call will transfer back to 

the Bluetooth Headphones.

LINE IN AUDIO JACK

1. Insert one end of the audio cable (included) into the Line Out Jack (or 

Headphone Jack) on your external audio device and the other end into 
the Line In Jack.

2. Use the connected external audio device to play and pause music.  

Sound will be heard through the Headphones.

3. Adjust the speaker volume level either by  pressing the and 

– buttons on the Headphones or by using the volume controls on the 
mobile device.

TO TURN THE UNIT OFF

Press and hold the Power/Phone button for 3 seconds; the LED will blink 
blue and orange once and then turn off.

AUTO OFF 

The MHBT0545 will automatically shut off if there is no music from a Line In 
source or from a Bluetooth-enabled device for more than 10 minutes.

ADJUST THE HEADPHONES / FOLD THE HEADPHONES

To adjust or fold, see the following illustrations:

RESET

To reset the unit, insert a paper clip or similar object into the Reset hole 
for approximately 5 seconds. 

1.  Read these Instructions.

2.  Keep these Instructions.

3.  Heed all Warnings.

4.  Follow all Instructions.

5.  Do not use this apparatus near water.

6.  Clean only with a dry cloth.

7.  Do not block any of the ventilation openings. 

Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s 

instructions.

8.  Do not install near any heat sources such 

as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other 

apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce 

heat.

9.  Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized 

or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has 

two blades with one wider than the other. A 

grounding-type plug has two blades and a 

third grounding prong. The wide blade or the 

third prong are provided for your safety. When 

the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, 

consult an electrician for replacement of the 

obsolete outlet.

10. Protect the power cord from being walked on 

or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience 

receptacles, and the point where they exit from 

the apparatus.

11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by 

the manufacturer.

12. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or 

when unused for long periods of time.

13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. 

Servicing is required when the apparatus has 

been damaged in any way, such as power-

supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been 

spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, 

the apparatus has been exposed to rain or 

moisture, does not operate normally, or has been 

dropped.

14. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric

15. The AC mains plug is used as the power 

disconnect device and it should remain readily 

accessible and operable during intended use. In 

order to completely disconnect the apparatus 

from power, the mains plug should be completely 

removed from the AC outlet socket.

4.  Do not short-circuit the rechargeable battery 

or allow metallic or conductive objects to 

contact both internal battery. 

5.  Only use the provided charger. Never use a 

damaged charger. 

6.  Remember to charge the device before storing 

for a long period of time. 

7.  Do not leave your device in hot or cold areas 

(car in direct sunlight or parked in a garage in 

winter). Always store in area where temperatures 

remain consistent. The charger and the device 

can become hot during charging. 

8.  Do not cover. Do not use your device in the 

rain or in/near any damp area. 

9.  Do not disassemble the device. 

10. In the event of battery leakage, avoid contact 

of the liquid with skin and eyes. If contact 

occurs, rinse affected areas with plenty of 

water and contact a physician. 

WARNING

1.  Listening to music at high volumes for long 

periods can lead to hearing problems. Using 

these headphones at maximum volume for 

long periods of time is not recommended.

2.  To protect your hearing, turn down the volume 

of your music player before connecting your 

headphones. After putting on the headphones, 

gradually turn up the volume until you reach a 

suitable level. 

3.  Avoid hazardous behavior that may cause 

an accident for you or somebody else 

(pedestrians, motorcyclists, drivers, cyclists) 

or cause damage to property when you are 

wearing your headphones.

Headphones! Built-in Bluetooth Wireless Technology and easy-access 
controls keep you tuned in and chill with comfortable, rechargeable 
headphones, and deep bass for enhanced sound. Recharge through 
micro-USB as needed for 5-8 hours of playback time. Please follow these 
operational instructions carefully. Save them for future reference. 

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

The MHBT0545 Bluetooth

®

 headphones feature a built-in Rechargeable 

Battery that can be charged using the micro USB Charging Port and 
cable (included). Before initial use, fully recharge the Headphones for 
approximately 2-3 hours for about 5-8 hours of music playback or talk 
time. To charge:
1. Turn on the headphones by pressing and holding the Power/Phone 

button for 3 seconds; an audio tone will sound and the LED will blink 
blue once and then it will repeatedly blink orange.

2. Connect charging cable (included) to a computer USB port or USB 

power adapter with 5V supply. 

3. The LED will turn off when the integrated battery is fully charged. When 

the battery is low, the LED will blink rapidly every 12 seconds and a 
tone will sound every minute.

OPERATION
Pairing a Bluetooth-Enabled Mobile Device

1. If pairing to a Bluetooth-enabled device for the first time, press and 

hold the Power/Phone button for approximately 5 seconds, until the 
LED blinks blue and orange alternately.

2. If previously paired, turn on MHBT0545 by pressing and holding the 

Power/Phone button for 3 seconds. Once powered, the headphones 
will automatically search for and pair to a previously paired Bluetooth

®

 

device.

3. Turn on your mobile device’s Bluetooth option in settings to search for 

a discoverable device with a Bluetooth signal. Select MRX-MHBT0545 
from the device results on your smartphone or tablet.

4. You will hear an audible tone indicating the Bluetooth connection is 

now enabled and the LED will blink blue rapidly when successfully 
paired.

5. Use “0000” if a pairing code is necessary on your mobile device.
6. Find your music selection on your mobile device, select play and enjoy!
If connection is lost after successful pairing, check to make sure the 
distance between headphones and Bluetooth-enabled device does not 
exceed 33 ft/10 m. If the connection is interrupted due to low battery, 
switch the headphones off, recharge the internal battery, and repeat steps 
when fully charged.

Pairing Two Bluetooth-Enabled Mobile Devices

1. Turn off the Bluetooth function of the mobile device already paired to 

the Bluetooth headphones.

2. Repeat the Pairing process according to the previous section with a 

second Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.

3. Once the second device is successfully paired, turn off the Headphones 

by pressing the Power/Phone button.

4. Next, turn on the Bluetooth function of the first mobile phone, then turn 

on the Bluetooth Headphones.

5. The Bluetooth Headphones will automatically connect to both mobile 

phones.

Listen to Music

1. When the Bluetooth-enabled device is paired, you can use your mobile 

device or these Headphones to play and pause music, skip tracks and 
control volume. The sound will be heard through the Headphones.

2. You can also adjust the speaker volume level by pressing the  

and – buttons.

3. Press the Skip Back/Redial

Note:

 You are able to answer calls from two different phones when both 

are connected via Bluetooth WiFi. When on a call from mobile phone 1, 
and another call comes in from mobile phone 2, there will be a beeping 
sound to let you know. Answer mobile phone 2 by pressing the Power/
Phone button twice. Press twice again to switch back to calling from 
mobile phone 1. If the Power/Phone button is pressed once during a call, 
it will hang up that device. The Bluetooth Headphones will automatically 
switch back to the other mobile phone for the next incoming call on that 
device.

Note:

 When a mobile device and headphones are paired and connected 

via Bluetooth WiFi and headphones are in Standby mode, you must 
pull out the audio cable first, then pick up the call using the Bluetooth 
Headphones.
