Viewing Traps/Events
When an event occurs in the system, it can be sent as a trap to the trap table/SNMP tool, or as
a log to a log file as defined in the Policy Table or in the CLI config/policy menu where policy
is set per event. Logs are events that are saved within the system and sent to the log file, traps
are sent via the SNMP to the GUI (SNMP manager).
The policy can be configured for each event defined in the system in the following manner:
