tical support of the rack and the second option will recess the switch further into the rack. If
you are using the second option insert the power cable before screwing the bracket to the
vertical support.

Screw the rails onto the switch. Use 5 flat head screws to connect each rail to the switch.
If you need to bring the Power cord from the other side of the rack, recess the
switch and run the Power cord through the bracket, also using the slot in the
rail slide. See “Passing the Power Cord From the Connector Side to the Power
Side in a Full Rack” on page 57 for detailed instructions on routing the power
cord from the power side to the connector side.
The side of the switch with these brackets will be the side that is even with or
very close to the vertical rack support.
