Setting the additional handle (8) (Fig. 4)
Loosen the additional handle by
turning to the left, via the tool holder
to the position shown in Figure 4 and
set a comfortable side working position
by sliding about the drilling axis. Turn
the additional handle to the right to
secure.
Mounting and setting the depth
stop (10) (Fig. 1)
Loosen the wing screw (13) on the
additional handle (8) until the depth stop
(10) can be moved into the clamping
opening (9). Pull the depth stop to the
tip of the inserted drill bit. Push the tool
with the drill bit and the depth stop up
against a flat surface and slide the depth
stop back to the required drilling depth.
Fix the setting by tightening the winged
screw (13). The front of the depth stop
will touch the relevant surface when the
set drilling depth is reached. You may
wish to make a test hole.
8 – Operation
Switching on and of
CAUTION! The voltage of the
power supply must correspond
to the specifications on the type plate
of the machine.
LED operating display (15) lights up
green as soon as the machine is linked
to the mains voltage. The machine is
operational.
• Switching on: Press the On/Off
switch (5). The drill
immediately starts
to operate with the
revolutions set using
the wheel (4).
• Switching off: Release the On/Off
switch (5).
Vibration damper (3)
The power tool has a
mechanism for reducing the
vibrations at the handle (7)
(Fig. 1).

Meanings of the symbols
drill, hammer drill, chase
Drilling without hammer action
(Fig. 8) into wood and metal. For this,
a conventional crown gear chuck with
adapter with SDSplus system is inserted
into the tool holder (11) (not supplied).
Hammer drilling in cement and
brickwork (Fig. 8, 9) without
additional conventional drill
chuck. To do this, suitable hammer
drills are inserted into the tool holder (11).
Chiseling in tiles and brickwork
(Fig. 9). To do this, suitable chisels
are inserted into the tool holder (11).
The rotating function of the machine is
deactivated in this mode.
Select a suitable switching combination
of selection knob for hammer drilling/
chasing (1) and on/off switch for hammer
action (6) in accordance with Figure
3. Make the setting with the tool at a
standstill.
A: Spot drilling without hammer action,
e.g. into plaster, aerated concrete,
metal; Drilling with conventional drill
bits connected using a conventional
drill chuck with adapter for
accommodating tools in accordance
with the SDSplus system.
