9.1.1 Preparing the cleaning and disinfection machine
Warning
Danger of injury from contact with chemicals
Detergent/disinfectant and rinse aid result in damage to health if in contact with
skin or eyes or if swallowed.
• Use eye protection.
• Wear protective gloves.
• Contact a physician immediately if chemicals or water containing chemicals
(clean water) are swallowed.
The cleaning and disinfection machine must not be used without precise knowledge
of the instructions for use. Incorrect operation may result in personal injury or mate-
rial damage.
1. Ensure water supply is available.
2. Switch on at the local mains isolator.
3. Check, and if necessary refill, detergent/disinfectant and rinse aid., see chapter
“Fill consumables” on page 35.
4. Ensure that the suction lances are correctly fed into the canister.
Note
If there is air in the hoses, the automatic dosing will not function correctly. The rel-
evant pipe must be bled, see chapter “Ventilating the pipes” on page 41.
5. Open door.
6. Insert filter, tank cover sieve and wash systems.
7. Close door.
