6.1 Display with embedded PC
The control panel display is designed for industrial applications and consists of a 5.7” TFT touch-screen display.
The display provides optimal performance for operating the BALTO system. The display is connected to an embedded
PC which runs the BALTO software, handles the I/O’s, stores the BALTO reports, etc. Important remarks on the
embedded PC :
The battery must be replaced every five years. A badly inserted battery, or inserted with incorrect polarity, can
explode and can cause damage. Only use original batteries: CR2032 (lithium) from Sanyo or Panasonic. The
battery is not rechargeable.
Never abruptly remove the CF (Compact Flash) modules. Software data could be destroyed, lost or damaged.
Megger cannot be held responsible for damage caused in this manner. It is not covered by warranty.
For more information and precautionary measures regarding battery replacement, consult the appropriate user
manual available from the Beckhoff website: www.beckhoff.de
