5. Outdoor unit trouble shooting
5.1 E3 E4 Error Code
E3 / E4 : Discharge temperature
"Tda" "Tdb" too high
Compressor discharge temperature sensor detected Td ≥120 ℃ and Lasts for 10s ,
whole system will stop running, after 4 minutes later will restart, but if stop running more
than 3 times within an hour , ODU PCB will display E3 or E4 error code. Stop running
until power up again.

Check whether Lack of refrigerant
1. No additional refrigerant?
2. Low pressure is too low?
3. High temperature of IDU air outlet?
Yes
→
Add refrigerant
NO

Check whether Lack of frozen oil
Through monitoring software to check is the
system frequent to run the oil return mode
Yes
→
Add oil
NO
↓
Check whether high pressure too high
1. ODU fan running abnormal?
2. Condenser is dirty block?
Yes
→
1. Replace fan or fan motor
2. Clean the condenser
NO
