USE
NOTE:
Prior to using the machine, screw it securely to the surface using screws through the 4 holes in
the feet.
Check the following items before use.
Check that the blade is in full working order, sharp and does catch on any parts.
Check that all blade guards are in full working order and installed correctly, with enough distance to
the blade.
Check that the log cradle automatically returns to the home position.
Check that the power cord, plug and power switch are undamaged. Electrical components may
only be repaired by qualified electricians.
Check that the saw blade stops at most 10 seconds after the motor has been switched off.
Risk of personal injury caused by the inhalation of dust
Dust from some wood species (such as oak, beech and ash) can cause cancer when inhaled.
Only work outdoors.
Restrict the spread of dust as far as possible.
Do not allow dust to accumulate in work area. Do not blow off the dust, wipe it off with e.g. a cloth.
Risk of personal injury as a result of defective protective equipment.
Wear appropriate clothing that protects against falling logs.
Wear hair protection.
Wear eye and ear protection.
Wear a dust filter mask.
Wear non-slip shoes.
Do not wear loose-fitting clothing, ties, scarves, etc., as these can get caught in moving parts.
Risk of pinch/crush injuries
Never use the machine if the guards or covers are dismantled or damaged.
Keep enough distance to moving parts when the machine is in operation.
Do not remove chips or pieces from the area around the blade with your hands.
Always use the log cradle.
Always keep both hands on log cradle’s handle when sawing.
Work in the right position.

The log cradle must return completely to its home position after each cut.
Risk of personal injury as a result of pieces of wood being ejected
Crooked logs should be placed in the log cradle with the curved side towards the saw blade.
Do not lock down the log to be cut.
Never try to slow the blade by pressing the log against the side of the saw blade.
