Turn the knob clockwise to lift the table so that the dust extraction port is firmly clamped and its taps fit into the holes. If the taps are not correctly
aligned the planer will not start.
4.
Connect the dust extractor adapter to the dust extractor.
5.
Lift up the cutter guard.
USE
Intended use
The tool is intended for planing solid wood. Only flat workpieces can be planed.
Important:
When working on large, heavy workpieces the planer should be secured to the workbench, e.g. with clamps. The planer is not intended for
outdoor use. All other applications are considered to be unsuitable. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any personal injury or material damage
resulting from incorrect use. The full responsibility for any such personal injury or material damage rests on the user.
Switching On/Off
The power switch is located on the side of the planer, under the yellow cover. The yellow cover can be folded down to prevent unintentional starting.
To switch on – Press the green button.
To switch off – Press the red button.
Overload protection
The planer has an overload protection, which automatically switches it off when overloaded. The overload protection can be reset when the planer has cooled.
IMPORTANT:
Check that the cutterhead is covered by the cutter guard when not in use.
Use
1.
Plug in the power cord, lift up the cutter guard and press the green power switch to start the planer.
2.
Place a workpiece on the adjustable table. Move the workpiece forwards over the cutterhead with the feeder. An arrow on the left side of the
table shows the direction of feed.
3.
When you have finished working, press the red power switch to switch off the planer and fold down the cutter guard. Unplug the power cord.
4.
Remove any chips, etc.
When all the moving parts have completely stopped, remove chips etc. from the cutterhead and the fixed/adjustable table. Place the cutter guard over
the cutterhead.
