SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use.
Save these instructions for future reference.
Important information
Carefully read the instructions. Most of the accidents that occur with the vacuum cleaner are a
result of failure to follow the instructions carefully. Accidents can be avoided by detecting potential
hazards in advance and carefully following the safety instructions.
Only use the vacuum cleaner in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer.
Warning:
This machine is only intended to be used in dry areas. Do not use in wet or damp areas.
General safety instructions
Pass the safety instructions on to all persons working with this machine.
Keep the safety instructions on the machine in legible condition.
Check the power cord. Do not use defective power cords.
Make sure the machine is standing on a firm and level surface, and that it is stable.
Protect the machine from moisture.
Keep children away from the machine when it is connected to the mains.
Users of the machine must be at least 18 years old.
Trainees must be at least 16 years old and must only use the machine under supervision.
Installation, repairs and maintenance work should only be carried out by specialists.
Note the direction of rotation of the motor
– see electrical connection.
Switch off the machine before resolving functional faults. Unplug the power cord from the mains.
Persons who are not familiar with the machine must not be allowed to use it.
Maintenance work and replacing bags, filters and hoses must only be done when the machine is
disconnected from the mains.
Only use original accessories.
Always check that the machine is working properly before using it.
Do not use the machine at temperatures below 0°C. Risk of damaging the casing
Switch off the motor before leaving the workplace. Pull out the plug from the mains.
Disconnect the machine from all external power sources before moving it.
Warning:
A damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, an approved service
centre, or a qualified person.
The vacuum cleaner is intended to be used to vacuum chippings produced when working with
wood or wood-based materials.
The vacuum cleaner is not intended for commercial use. We cannot assume any liability if the
product is used commercially, industrially, or by a tradesman.
Check the filter for damage at regular intervals. Replace damaged filters.
Do not vacuum foreign objects, such as screws and nails, or pieces of wood or plastic used to
clean the nozzles.
The machine must only be used with orginal parts and original accessories from the manufacturer.
All other use is to be considered as misuse. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injuries
resulting from this. The sole responsibility rests on the user.
Follow all the relevant directives for the prevention of accidents and other generally recognised
safety standards.
The machine must only be used, maintained and repaired by persons who are familiar with the
machine and the risks involved. Unapproved modifications to the machine release the
manufacturer of any liability for damages incurred.
The machine must only be used with the intended original parts.
The vacuum device is used to vacuum up and blow out substances that are not a health hazard.
Do not use the vacuum device to vacuum liquids.
Do not vacuum hot or burning dust
Do not vacuum dust that is a health hazard (e.g. asbestos).
Keep the vacuum device away from moisture and rain.
Always wear protective equipment such as safety glasses and a dust mask.
