Intended environment
The device can be operated at an ambient temperature of +5°C to +40°C and at a
relative humidity of 20% - 85% (non-condensing).
When switched off, the LCD TV can be stored at temperatures from -20°C to
+60°C.
Keep the device at least one metre away from high-frequency and magnetic
sources of interference (television sets, loudspeakers, mobile telephones, etc.) to
avoid malfunctions.
After transporting the LCD TV, wait until the device has reached ambient
temperature before switching it on.
Large fluctuations in temperature or humidity can cause moisture to build up due
to condensation within the LCD TV which can cause an electrical short circuit.
During thunderstorms, or if the device will not be used for long periods, remove
the plug from the mains socket and the aerial cable from the aerial socket.
Power supply
Please note:
Even when the mains switch is off some components of the device
are live. In order to disconnect the power to your LCD TV, or to
completely isolate the device from voltage sources, remove the
mains plug from the mains socket.
Only plug the LCD TV into an earthed socket with 100-240 V~ 50/60 Hz. Contact
your electricity provider if you are unsure whether the socket is earthed or not.
The socket outlet must be close to the device and easily accessible.
To disconnect the power supply to your device, pull the power cord from the
socket outlet. Always hold the plug firmly when unplugging it from the socket.
Never pull on the lead.
For extra safety, we recommend using an overvoltage protection device to
prevent your LCD TV from damage as a result of power surges or lightning strikes.
Position the cable so that nobody can step on it or trip over it.
Do not place any objects on the cable to avoid damaging it.
