Power to platform wiring

Turn the key switch to ground control and pull out the red Emergency Stop button to the ON
position at both the ground and platform controls.
Raise the platform approximately 2 m from the ground.
Place a lifting strap from an overhead crane under the platform. Support the platform. Do not
apply any lifting pressure.
Component damage hazard����� The platform railings can be damaged if they
are used to lift the platform����� Do not attach the lifting strap to the platform
railings�����
Inspect for a liberal coating of dielectric grease in the following locations:
Between the ECU and platform controls
All wire harness connectors tilt sensor
Open the cover.
Inspect the battery tray for burnt, chafed and pinched cables.
Close the battery tray cover.
Remove the strap from the platform.
Lower the platform to the stowed position and turn the machine off.
3 - Inspect the Tires and Wheels (including castle nut torque)
Tools will be required to perform this procedure.
New parts will be required to perform this procedure.
This procedure is to be performed every 3 months or every 250 hours, whichever comes first.
Maintaining the tires and wheels in good condition is essential to safe operation and good
performance. Tire and/or wheel failure could result in a machine tip-over. Component damage may
also result if problems are not discovered and repaired in a timely fashion.
Check the tire surface and sidewalls for cuts, cracks, punctures and unusual wear.
Check each wheel for damage, bends and cracks.
4 - Test the Emergency Stop
This procedure is to be performed every 3 months or every 250 hours, whichever comes first.
A properly functioning Emergency Stop is essential for safe machine operation. An improperly
operating red Emergency Stop button will fail to shut off power and stop all machine functions,
resulting in a hazardous situation.
As a safety feature, selecting and operating the ground controls will override the platform controls,
except the platform red Emergency Stop button.
