9010+ supports connection of external options through two MSI bus connectors. Multiple devices can
be daisy chained in one connector.
Press OPTION for Function menu and then press OPTIONS soft key to search for external options. List
of all externally connected options that are supported will show up:
Status – status:
Connected – device has been connected successfully
Not found – device doesn‘t respond when address is entered
Disabled – device is disabled by the user
Old HW – device has outdated HW and cannot be used as an option
Old SW – device has outdated SW – find out the possibility to update the SW
No feature – device does not have the required properties (missing HW)
The EDIT soft key can be used to change the device address or to disable the device:
The address can be in the range from 0 to 199 (every instrument must have unique address). When
DISABLE soft key is pressed, the calibrator will not try to identify the device.
