(5). Move switch housing assembly aft from
face of panel until wiring at lamp
terminals is accessible.
(6). Note wire and terminal numbers for
reinstallation and then unsolder wires
at terminals. Remove switch housing
assembly.
(7). Solder wiring to lamp terminals of
replacement indicator assembly.
(8). Install switch housing assembly with
mounting sleeve to instrument panel.
(9). Inside housing, engage cams with
mounting sleeve by tightening two
mounting cam-locking screws.
(10). Grasp edges of legend face and push
lamp module into switch housing.
(11). Turn on electrical power and check
indicator operation with PRESS-TO-
TEST switch.
4. Autronics Indicator Lights Dimmer
Assembly Replacement
(1). Check that electrical power is OFF.
(2). (Slim-Line instrument panels only)
Locate dimming unit mounted at front
of instrument panel lower support
structure (Model 369D helicopters
serial numbers 3 - 1149) or rear of
upper right structure (Model 369D
helicopters serial numbers 1150 and
subsequent).
(3). (R/H command T-Panels only) Locate
dimming unit mounted at back of
instrument panel lower support
structure.
(4). (L/H command T-Panels only) Locate
dimming unit mounted at front of
instrument panel lower support
structure.
(5). Disconnect electrical plug at dimming
unit.
(6). Remove hardware attaching dimming
unit to support structure and remove
dimming unit.
(7). Install replacement dimming unit to
support structure using hardware
removed in step above.
(8). Connect electrical plug at dimming
unit.
(9). Connect electrical power and check
caution and warning light PRESS-TO-
TEST operation.
(10). Check instrument panel lights for
proper dim and bright operation.
(11). Turn off electrical power.
5. DC Voltmeter Replacement
(Ref. Instrument Replacement)
NOTE:
Remove bracket from instrument pan
el, if necessary, by drilling out rivets.
