door.
(b). Remove attaching hardware (Ref.
view D).
(c). Disconnect pressure line nuts at
plenum chamber pan and engine oil
pressure port fittings (Ref. views E,
A).

NOTE:
At replacement, use 3/16 inch (4.76
mm) diameter nylon forward tube section
line. After replacement, pressure and leak
test assembled lines between engine and
gauge at 200 psi (1379 kPa).
(1). Forward Tube Section (Nylon):
(a). Remove covers from pressure line
and gauge fitting.
(b). Connect pressure line to gauge.
Connect bleed valve at oil pressure
port.
(c). Route line along center canopy
frame, and connect line to bulkhead
at upper frame of canted Sta. 78.50.
(d). When installing 3/16 inch (4.76 mm)
diameter nylon line, route line aft
through bulkhead hole to plenum
chamber pan fitting and
torque to
10 - 15 inch-pounds (1.13 - 1.69
Nm)
.
(e). Pull-test forward tube section (Ref.
369A8010 Engine Oil Pressure and
Torque Gauge Tubing Pull Test).
(f). Secure line next to static pressure
line, using canopy frame slots and
nylon straps, or tying twine (CM807).
(g). After pressure and leak test, reinstall
instrument panel fairing.
