the Electric Heater

Procedure

1. Unplug the unit power cord from the power supply

receptacle.

2. Remove the two screws and unlatch the front panel by

pulling on the lower corners. Lift the front panel off and set
aside.

3. Reach in between the control box and the evaporator coil

and grasp the plug with 2 red wires. Squeeze the latches
together and pull loose from the receptacle (Figures 2, 3 &
4). This will deactivate power to the heater and render it
inoperable without affecting cooling or heat pump
operation.

It is the installer’s responsibility to determine and follow
all applicable codes and regulations. This equipment pre-
sents hazards of electricity, rotating parts, sharp edges
and weight. Failure to read and follow these instructions
can result in equipment damage, severe personal injury
or death. This equipment is to be installed only by expe-
rienced, trained personnel.

Disconnect all electrical power before servicing unit.
Electrical shock will cause severe injury or death.

Rigorously adhere to field wiring procedures regarding proper
lockout and tagout of components.

Sharp metal edges are a hazard, use care when servicing to
avoid contact with them.
