Battery Health
In order to maximise the performance and life
of the McLaren P1
™
GTR hybrid system we
advise that prolonged off board charging and
State of Health (SOH) procedures are carried
out periodically throughout the life of vehicle.
If these are not carried out at the prescribed
intervals, the McLaren P1
™
GTR hybrid system
performance will degrade prematurely.
Off-Board Charging
WARNING: As the McLaren P1
™
GTR is
not equipped with electronic parking
brake only charge the vehicle on a level
surface in a raised position on the air
jacks ensuring the safety supports are in
place to prevent roll away.
State of Health (SOH) Routine
If the instrument cluster charge display is
replaced with a sliding bar, carry out the
hybrid system State of Health (SOH)
procedure.
