If the unit is equipped with the optional HEPA after filtration, use the magnahelic gauge supplied to indicate when the HEPA filter requires
replacement. The HEPA filter is not cleanable and requires replacement when the magnahelic gauge reaches 2.5” S.P.W.G. If equipped the
magnahelic gauge for the primary filter is located on the left side of the unit top panel and the HEPA magnahelic is located on the right side of the
unit.
Space Saver units have a cleanable cloth dust bag. To clean this filter simply turn the machine off and taking a handful of cloth located about 1 foot
below the bag top, shake the bag for about 10 seconds in a rapid back and forth direction. This will release any dust collected on the inside of the
dust bag dropping the dust into the collection pail. It is not necessary to empty the collection pail until the pail is full. Clean the filter on a regular
time interval determined by the dust load and reduced machine airflow.
