Prevent caustic solutions such as perfum e
and cosm etic oils from contacting the
dashboard. T h ey ’ll dam age and discolor
it. If these solutions get on the dashboard,

▼ Cleaning the Upholstery and
Interior Trim
V inyl
R em ove dust and loose dirt from vinyl
w ith a w hisk broom or vacuum cleaner.
C lean vinyl w ith a leather-and-vinyl
cleaner.
L e a th e r
R eal leather is n ’t uniform and m ay have
scars, scratches, and w rinkles. C lean it
w ith a leather cleaner o r m ild soap.
W ipe it w ith a d a m p soft cloth; then dry
and buff it w ith a d r y soft cloth.
F a b ric
R em ove dust and loose dirt from fabric
w ith a w hisk broom or vacuum cleaner.
C lean it w ith a m ild soap solution good
for upholstery and carpets. R em ove fresh
spots im m ediately w ith a fabric spot
cleaner.
To keep the fabric looking clean and
fresh, take care o f it. O therw ise its color
w ill b e affected, it can be stained easily,
and its fire-resistance m ay be reduced.
U se only recom m ended cleaners and
procedures. O thers m ay affect
appearance and fire-resistance.
▼ Cleaning the Lap/Shoulder Belt
Webbing
C lean the w ebbing w ith a m ild soap
solution recom m ended for upholstery or
carpets. F ollow instructions. D o n ’t bleach
or dye the w ebbing; this m ay w eaken it.
A fter cleaning the belts, thoroughly dry
the belt w ebbing and m ake sure there is
no rem aining m oisture before retracting
them .

If the w indow s becom e covered w ith an
oily, greasy, o r w axy film, clean them
w ith glass cleaner. Follow the directions
on the container.

re ar w indow defroster grid.
