6. Using vernier calipers, measure the free length of the piston return spring.
C2 clutch return spring free length
Standard: 20.02 mm {0.79 in}
If it less than the specification, replace the piston return spring with a new one.

C3 clutch return spring free length
Standard: 21.03 mm {0.83 in}
If it less than the specification, replace the piston return spring with a new one.
