Cancelling the function
Cancelling using OFF/CANCEL switch
When the OFF/CANCEL switch is
pressed once, the cruise control function is
cancelled.
Cancelling using MODE switch
When the MODE switch is pressed, the
cruise control function is cancelled and the
headway control function is made
available for operation.
The cruise control function is cancelled
automatically in the following cases. If the
RES switch is pressed while the vehicle
speed is 25 km/h (16 mph) or higher, the
speed returns to the original set speed.

The OFF/CANCEL switch is pressed
once.

The brake pedal is depressed.
x
The parking brake is applied.
(Manual transaxle)
x
The clutch pedal is depressed.
x
The shift lever is shifted to neutral
position.
(Automatic transaxle)
x
The selector lever is shifted to P or N
position.
NOTE
x
If the vehicle speed decreases by about
15 km/h (9.4 mph) or more than the set
speed, the cruise control function may
be cancelled.
x
When the vehicle speed is less than 21
km/h (13 mph), the cruise control
function is cancelled. In this case, the
vehicle speed will not return to the
original set speed even if the vehicle is
accelerated to 25 km/h (16 mph) or
higher and the RES switch is pressed.
Reset the cruise control function.
