SAFETY INFORMATION

Commissioning and installation site
•
Immediately check the delivery for completeness and any visible damage.
•
An incomplete delivery or transport damage must be reported to the freight forwarder immediately.
•
Take the device out of the box and completely remove the packaging material.
•
The refrigerator may only be transported upright.
•
Clean the interior with lukewarm water, a soft cleaning cloth and a suitable cleaning agent (special „refrigerator
cleaners“ are recommended). Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents
•
Wait 24 hours before connecting the device to the power supply and switching it on. You can now place drinks in
the device to cool them.
•
Select a horizontal and sufficiently firm surface for the device
•
Choose a location near the socket (secured with at least 16A), as the connection may only be made with a ma-
ximum 3m long extension cable (at least 1.5 mm² cross section). The use of multiple sockets or power strips is
prohibited because of the associated fire hazard.
•
Check the connection cable for damage and make sure that the cable does not come into contact with dangerous
areas (sharp-edged, pointed, hot, etc.).
•
Lay the cable in such a way that nobody can trip over it.
•
Avoid direct sunlight which can harm plastic parts.
•
Ensure that there is sufficient distance from heat sources, as these have a negative impact on energy
consumption.
•
Ideally, the ambient temperatures are between 16 ° C and 38 ° C. Temperatures above or below can limit the
functionality of the device.
•
Even if the device is protected against splash water from all directions (IPX4), direct weather influences and frost
should be avoided.
•
Maintain a sufficient distance from heat sources or flammable materials.
•
For trouble-free operation, the device requires approx. 15 cm of free space for air to circulate. The grill kitchen
modules offered by the manufacturer are excluded.
•
Caution: The ventilation openings on the device must not be closed or covered
•
The socket must be freely accessible so that the power supply can be interrupted quickly in an emergency.
•
Note:
Direct sunlight significantly reduces the cooling capacity of the refrigerator and leads to increased energy
consumption, since the cooling unit has to work more often and for longer. The cooling performance may be signifi
-
cantly impaired and no longer reach the specified minimum temperatures.
•
Note:
We recommend protecting the refrigerator from frost. Ideally, the device should be stored in a frost-free place
over the winter (in the house, basement, etc.).
