SAFETY INFORMATIONS

Read carefully!
• ATTENTION! This grill device becomes very hot and must not be moved during operation!
• Do not use indoors!
•
WARNING! Do not use spirit or petrol for lighting or relighting! Use only firelighters complying to EN 1860-3!
• WARNING! Keep children and pets away.
•
Important: At the beginning, only fire your barbecue with a little wood and increase the amount care
-
fully so that the steel does not expand too quickly and warp. Failure to comply will result in damage to
the fireplace and a loss of guarantee and warranty.

Please use the fireplace exclusively on heat- and
fire-resistant grounds.
• Note: When it rains, rust particles can be washed off,
which get onto the surface with the water and possib-
ly cause rust stains there. Therefore, pay attention to
the surface on which you set up the fireplace.
• Read this manual and all safety informations care-
fully before first use. Failure to do so could result in
serious injury or death or damage to property.
•
Pay attention to a proper assembly of the firepit.
Always follow the mounting instructions supplied with
the firepit. Use the grill only after it is fully assembled.
•
The firepit must be positioned on a safe flat surface
before use.
• Use only approved Grill charcoal or barbecue briquet-
tes which comply with DIN EN 1860-3. Cover the coal
grate with max. 2.5kg of fuel without piling it up.
•
Only use approved solid firelighters that comply with
EN 1860-3. Stick to the enclosed instructions on the
proper use of the product. Seal the fire starters imme
-
diately after use and do not store them near the grill.
• Do not cook before the fuel has a coating of ash.
•
Do not use the firepit to heat substances and materi
-
als other than food.
•
Do not use the firepit as a heater.
•
Do not use the firepit in closed rooms, garages, tents
or other closed places. The resulting heat and sparks
may cause fire. The development of carbon monoxide
may cause asphyxiation in closed rooms.
•
Do ot use the grill under flammable roofs, shelters
and similar places.
• Make sure to keep the grill in a safety distance of 2
meters away from inflamable materials. These could
be ignited by heat generation or flying sparks.
•
Never leave the hot firepit unattended.
• Attention: before protecting your grill with a suitable
cover, it must be completely cooled! Otherwise, there
is a risk of fire and flammability!
• Keep sure to always wear oven mitts when touching
the fire basket during operation, e.G. opening the
airvents or putting more charcoal into grill.
• Don‘t wear too far or loose clothing that could come
into contact with the coals or fire when grilling.
•
Never use the firepit at strong windy conditions
• Never extinguish burning charcoal, barbecue briquet-
tes or firewood with water.
•
This firepit is only intended for private use!
• Remains of the food to be grilled (fats, proteins and
salts) contain substances that accelerate corrosion
and attack your grill fireplace. The same applies to
ashes in combination with moisture (rain, condensati-
on, ...). Please clean your barbecue grill carefully after
each use.
