In 3 hours the unit will be switched off auto-
matically (the buttons’ illumination will go out).
– To cancel the keep warm mode, press the
button (10).
Notes:
The selected temperature symbols flash dur-
ing heating and light constantly when the
kettle is operating in standby mode.
The unit saves the keep warm mode settings
for 30 seconds. If you remove the kettle from
the base and place it back within 30 sec-
onds, the unit will continue operating in keep
warm mode. If you place the kettle on the
base after 30 seconds, reset the unit again.
If you accidentally switch the kettle on with insuf-
ficient amount of water, the automatic thermal
switch will be on and the kettle will be switched
off. In this case take the kettle off the base (7)
and let it cool down for 5-10 minutes. Then fill it
with water and switch it on, the kettle will operate
in normal mode.
Attention!
Be careful when handling the glass flask
of the kettle; the flask can be broken if the
kettle is dropped or hit against a metal sink
while water filling.
To avoid burns by hot steam, do not bend
over the kettle spout while it is operating.
CLEANING AND CARE
– Before cleaning, disconnect the unit from the
mains, pour out water and let the unit cool
down completely.
– Wipe the outer surface of the kettle with a
damp cloth or a sponge. Use soft detergents
to remove dirt; do not use metal brushes and
abrasive detergents.
– Do not immerse the kettle and base into
water or any other liquids.

Do not wash the kettle and base in a dish-
washing machine.
– Regularly clean the filter (3) from obstruction.
Place the kettle with spout turned towards
you, take the mesh filter (3) by its upper part
and pull it out. Wash the filter and install it
back to its place.
Descaling
–
Scale, appearing inside the kettle, influences
the water taste and disturbs the heat exchange
between water and the heating element.

To remove scale, fill the kettle with water for
about 75% and then boil the water. Fill the
remaining quarter of the tank with vinegar
solution (6-9%) and leave it in the kettle
overnight (for approximately 8 hours). In the
morning pour the vinegar mixture out of the
kettle and rinse the flask several times under
running water. After that fill the kettle with
water till the maximal mark and boil it. Pour
out the water and repeat the boiling proce-
dure. Then repeat the cleaning procedure if
you could not remove all the scale.

You can use special detergents for electric
kettles to remove scale.
– Clean the kettle from scale regularly.
STORAGE
– Before taking the kettle away for long stor-
age, unplug it, pour out water and let the
kettle cool down.

Fix the power cord in the cord storage (8).
– Keep the kettle away from children in a dry
cool place.
