All tools must be provided with earth protection before operation.

Installation of heated die head

For installation of a heated die head on a fusion splicer which is fixed on a support, select a heated die head

according to the specification of the pipe required, and tighten with an internal hex wrench. Generally, the

die head shall be with its smaller end in front and its larger end at back.

Startup by powering

(The power source must be provided with earth wire) The green indicator will be on and the red indicator 5

will be off once the power is connected, which indicates that the fusion splicer is under the automatically-

controlling status and it can be operated. Note: The automatic temperature control status only shows the

fusion splicer is under the temperature control status, having no effect on operation.

Methods for fusion splicing of pipes

Cut off the pipes vertically with a pipe cutter, put the pipe and the fitting into the die head of the fusion

splicer simultaneously without rotation, and operate according to the following table. Take the pipe and

fitting out of the die head immediately once the heating time is achieved, insert the pipe in the fitting to

the required depth rapidly, straightly and uniformly without rotation to form a uniform flange on the joint.

Welding temperature adjustment

The pipes of different material shall be welded at different temperatures. The welding temperature can be

regulated through the regulator 3, and the range of the temperature will be 50-300

.

CLEANING AND MAINTANCE

Please shut down the tool and cut off the power before any maintenance is carried out.

Maintenance

The power tool is excellently designed, can run for a long term and only requires a very little of

maintenance. In order to achieve a continuous and satisfactory working effect, proper maintenance and

regular cleaning are required.

Lubrication

The power tool is not required to be additionally lubricated.

ENVIRONMENT

Do not dispose of electric tools, accessories and packaging together with household waste material -

in observance of European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste of electric and electronic equipment and its

implementation in accordance with national law, electric tools that have reached the end of their life must

be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible recycling facility.
