If the rear of the vehicle & Liftgate
mounting plates are galvanized,

make

sure:

• Bolts are removed from top hanger

• Bolt & cover are removed from

hanger lock

Check if the Liftgate mounting

plates and rear of vehicle are
galvanized

vanized, remove 2 bolts from
top hanger on the RH mounting
plate

. Then, remove

screw and cover from hanger
lock
