Harness: 

No harness. Vehicle shoulder and lap belt are required.

 

 

Backrest:

 Removable. Shoulder belt adjuster strap must be removed 

before attaching backrest. To install, attach hooks to back of seat pan 
(diagram 1), rotate backrest up until it clicks twice. Reverse steps to 
remove backrest. To adjust backrest height, squeeze adjustment 
handle on back of headrest and pull upwards (diagram 2). Lower or 
raise headrest, then release handle to lock into one of five available positions. 
Backrest may be reclined one click in order to install restraint flush with vehicle 
seat back. Vehicle seat back must be upright. If vehicle headrest interferes 
with flush install of booster, check if it may be removed or adjusted, or move 
booster to a different seating position.
