OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The PowerMate collects energy from the sun to charge many small handheld devices
and laptops immediately or it can be used to store energy in the Max Burton® Power
Center

, or other battery pack, for use later. Handheld devices include items such as
cell phones, smartphones, eReaders, laptops, flashlights, cameras, GPS, game devices,
radios, or our SolaDyne® and Wind ‘N Go® products (see specifications on the back).

Charging the #6994 Max Burton Power Center

Plug the male end of the

Center.
Place the PowerMate and Power Center in the sun as described below.

The battery level indicator will blink on the Power Center showing that it is charging

Place the device and Power Center in the sun as described below.

You will need the 12V DC vehicle adapter provided with your device. Plug it into

the large female end of of aDaPTeR #1.
Place the device and Power Center in the sun as described below.

Optimum Solar Collection:
Place the PowerMate and the device to be charged in full and direct sunlight with the
panels facing the direction of the sun. If charging for a long period of time the angle
of the PowerMate will have to be adjusted to keep it facing the sun. Charging time will
vary depending on the strength of the sun, cloud cover, trees, or other obstructions.
