１ I n t r o d u c t i o n
１－３ Unpacking the POWER SUPPLY
When unpacked the unit, please check the following accessories are enclosed with power supply main
body.
〈ACCESSORIES〉
・ Output cable
・ AC input cord (1 pc.) (Except optional -L200V3P)
・ Instruction manual
・ Interface(TB1) D-sub connector(1 pc.)＊Installed on rear panel(TB1)
・ Insulation oil
・ Syringe
〈Initial Checking〉
・Check the panel and chassis for any apparent trace of impact such as a dent.
If any failure is found, contact the carrier and the manufacturer
.
１－４ Installation conditions
1-4-1 Safety
Warning
This unit is a high voltage power supply. Observe the safety precautions and operate correctly,
or an electric shock or a fatal accident may be caused.
Observe the following precautions in operating and inspecting this power supply to operate and
handle correctly.
・Install the power supply unit horizontally for use.
・The top, side, front and rear panels have cooling air supply and exhaust openings. The power supply
must be operated with adequate space and good ventilation.
・Keep enough space for air intake(more than 30cm from front panel) and exhaust(more than 30cm from
rear panel)
・External cabinet shall have the same size of intake hole and exhaust space.
・In case that the power supply is operated in the closed cabinet, such arrangement as forced ventilation
shall be required so that temperature by exhausted air will not be taken into air intake of power supply.
・Make sure no liquid or metal piece is taken into the vent holes of power supply.
・Do not put any object on the power supply unit.
・Do not operate the power supply in a dusty area or in corrosive gas environment.
・Do not use any substitute for the parts in the internal circuits or do not modify them without
permission.
・This power supply is designed to a 19 inch rack. The chassis should be supported by the guide in
mounting. Never support it with the front panel mounting hole only.
・The front panel handle is used to change the direction of the power supply or pull out the power supply
mounted onto the rack. Do not use the handle with bearing the whole weight of the power supply on
the handle.
・Carefully handle the power supply with giving no impact in carrying. The weight of power supply is
about 25kg, and It is dangerous for one person to carry. Two persons or more should hold to carry or a
cart should be used to carry.
