LAN connections page
The LAN connections page contains configuration options that allow your
Matrox Iris GT to logon to a specified user account automatically upon startup.
Matrox Iris GT uses this information to connect to specified network resources
(for example, to map a network drive on your Matrox Iris GT).
• Login credentials . Specifies the login information that your Matrox Iris GT
requires to connect to a secure LAN. Note that deleting the credentials (by setting
all the fields blank) will disable all your persistent connections, as listed on the
LAN connections page.
• General settings . Specifies general settings for Matrox Iris GT.
Field name Description
Default LAN login user name Specifies your user name.
Default LAN login domain Specifies the name of the login domain that your Matrox Iris GT uses to connect to a secure LAN.
Default LAN login password Specifies the password for the specified user name.
Default LAN login password confirmation Specifies the password again to help assure that no errors were made.
Button name Description
Save credentials Saves the login credentials and refreshes the LAN connections page.
Field name Description
Number of seconds before releasing unused resources Specifies the number of secs after which to release unused network resources for
other applications.
Number of milliseconds to wait for SMB responses Specifies the number of msecs for your Matrox Iris GT to wait for a response from
a network device before your Matrox Iris GT assumes the device has timed out
and will not respond.
