Installing the Matrox File Converter for use on a system
without the DigiSuite hardware
If you have DigiSuite hardware installed in your system, the Matrox File
Converter will be installed automatically when you run DigiUtils Setup to
install your DigiUtils software.
¬ To install the Matrox File Converter on a system that doesn’t have
DigiSuite hardware:
1 Close all Windows programs.
2 Insert your DigiSuite CD in your CD-ROM drive, or if your CD is
already inserted, double-click
My Computer , then double-click
Compact Disc .
3 From the DigiSuite CD menu, choose Install the Matrox File
Converter on a system without the DigiSuite hardware .
4 Follow the instructions that appear on the screen. An information box
indicates when the installation is complete.
Remarks

If you later decide to add the DigiSuite hardware to your computer,
you must remove the Matrox File Converter from your system before
installing your DigiUtils software. To do so, choose
Start > Programs
> Matrox File Converter > Uninstall Matrox File Converter .

If you have the Matrox VFW software codecs installed on a system
without the DigiSuite hardware, and you decide to remove the codecs,
you’ll need to re-install the Matrox File Converter. As well, if you
uninstall the Matrox File Converter, you’ll need to re-install the
Matrox VFW software codecs.
