INSTALLING A BATTERY ON THE
CIRCULAR SAW
1. Remove the discharged battery (1)
from the circular saw by pressing on
the battery release button (2) and
sliding the battery backward until it is
removed from the circular saw handle
(3) (Fig. 3).
2. Slide the fully charged battery onto the
matching keys (4) in the circular saw
handle where the discharged battery
has been removed.
NOTE: Make sure the slots in the battery
are fully engaged with the mounting keys
in the circular saw handle. The battery
release button will “click” into place when
the battery is fully installed.
WARNING:
Do not immerse the
battery pack in water. Sudden cooling
could cause a hot battery to explode or
leak.
INSTALLING A BLADE
WARNING:
Always remove the
battery from the tool before installing or
removing a blade or adjusting the saw
in any way.
1. Place your right thumb on the shaft-
locking button (1) (Fig. 4).
2. Place the socket end of the blade
wrench (2) on the blade screw (3)
(Fig. 5)
NOTE: The blade wrench is stored on the
front of the motor housing just above the
sole plate.
