1A-63 Engine General Information and Diagnosis: Bi-Fuel LPG model

AENAR90A1104050

DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

Shut off valve power supply circuit check

1) Check shut off valve of LPG pressure regulator power

supply circuit and shut off valve of LPG tank valve power
supply circuit according to step 6 of “DTC P0005 /
P0007”: Bi-Fuel LPG model.

Is it in good condition?

Go to Step 5.

Repair or replace shut
off valve of LPG
pressure regulator
power supply circuit
and/or shut off valve of
LPG tank valve power
supply circuit.

Shut off valve of LPG tank valve power supply circuit
check

1) Turn ignition switch to OFF position and then disconnect

connector from shut off valve of LPG tank valve.

2) Remove LPG valve control relay.
3) Check for proper terminal connection to LPG valve

control relay and shut off valve of LPG tank valve
connector.

4) If connections are OK, measure wiring harness

resistance of shut off valve of LPG tank valve power
supply circuit (A2).

Is resistance 1

Ω

or less?

Go to Step 6.

Repair or replace shut
off valve of LPG tank
valve power supply
circuit.

Shut off valve of LPG tank valve control circuit check

1) Turn ignition switch to OFF position and then disconnect

connectors from LPG control module.

2) Check for proper terminal connection to LPG control

module connectors.

3) If connection are OK, check that shut off valve of LPG

tank valve control circuit (B2) is as follows.
• Wiring harness resistance of shut off valve of LPG

tank valve control circuit is less than 1

Ω

• Insulation resistance of shut off valve of LPG tank

valve control circuit between shut off valve of LPG
tank valve connector and vehicle body ground is
infinity.

• Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity

between shut off valve of LPG tank valve control
circuit terminal and each terminal at shut off valve of
LPG tank valve connector.

• Voltage of shut off valve of LPG tank valve control

circuit is 0 – 1 V with ignition switch in ON position.

Are they in good condition?

Go to Step 7.

Repair or replace shut
off valve of LPG tank
valve control circuit.

Shut off valve of LPG tank valve check

1) Check shut off valve of LPG tank valve. “LPG Tank with

Tank Valve On-Vehicle Inspection”: LPG in Section 1G

Is it in good condition?

Substitute a known-
good LPG control
module and recheck.

Replace LPG tank
valve. “LPG Tank with
