A-B Mixer
Like The
, The A-B Mixer allows you to run cues without a DMX console.
The
is used to manually select cross fade attributes.
The Transitions window allows you to select the Transition or Wipe that will be used in the cross fade.
Selecting a cue from the Cue A Engine 1 window at the top loads that cue into side A. If the Fade
slider in the
is set to Cue A (top) the selected cue will immediately start playing.
Selecting a cue from the Cue B Engine 1 window at the bottom loads that cue into side B. If the Fade
slider in the
is set to Cue B (bottom) the selected cue will immediately start playing.
To prepare for a transition, note the setting of the Fade slider in the Output Mixer. Select the cue you
would like to transition to on the side that is NOT currently playing (if the Fade slider is set to A,
Select the new cue in B). Set cross fade time, blur and wipe or transition as desired.
To start the cross fade, press the Go button in the

When the cross fade has completed, load your next cue into the side that is no longer playing, make
sure time blur and transition are set as desired. You are now ready to press Go when it is time to
change to that cue.
