When Collating Fewer Than 12 Pages
Whenever you have empty bins during collating,
you can disengage the Locking Levers (
h
, Figs. 4
& 5). By doing so, the pusher cylinder is con-
verted into a roller, thereby prolonging its life.
To Disengage
Place thumb on rear of Pusher Arm (
g
, Fig. 4).
Pull back on the lip on Locking Lever (
h
, Figs. 4
& 5).
To Re-Engage
Place index finger on front edge of Pusher Arm
(
g
, Fig. 4). Push Locking Lever (
h
, Figs. 4 & 5)
against Rubber Roller thereby locking in a sta-
tionary position.
OPTIONAL: How to Use the V-Tray as
a Holder
Martin Yale offers a V-Tray which may be used to
facilitate stacking of collated sheets in crisscross-
ing positions.

ble-free use with minimal maintenance. If prob-

Operating
Instructions
The Martin Yale Model 6120 Electric Collator
is a lightweight, easy to use collator that pro-
vides all the advantages of high speed pro-
fessional collating in a compact, attractive
unit that’s equally at home in a general office
area, a copy/duplicating center, a print shop
or a school.
The Model 6120 offers a capacity of 12 bins,
which are arranged in two side-by-side tiers
of six bins each. The Model 6120 is a desk-
top collator that permits the collating of multi-
page reports, bulletins, contracts, newslet-
ters and the like at the rate of 21 complete
12-page sets per minute.
The Martin Yale Electric Collator can operate
automatically at one set speed, (21 cycles
per minute), feeding one set of copies every
three seconds. Or, the operator can run the
machine in a self-paced mode by the use of
a Foot Pedal.
