4.8. Gas alarms

GAS alarm table

Alarm Code

SOLUTION

E12:F4

The blower fan is working but there is no ignition

spark

1. Check the wirings on the igniter and on

the spark plug.

2. Check the continuity of the HF cable.

3. Check the spark plug ground

connection

4. Dismantle the spark plug and check

the electrodes.

5. Check the power supply to the igniter.

6. Replace the igniter.

The blower fan is working and the spark is good

but there is no flame ignition.

1. Check the inlet gas pressure.

2. Check gas nozzle

3. Increase gas pressure regulation

(PR.ADJ.) until the burner ignition. (see
section 4.4.4.1)

4. Check gas pipe fixing

5. Check gas valve power supply

6. Check that the outlet pressure of the

gas is free

7. Clean the blower fan air intake

Detonation at the ignition

1. Dismantle and check the spark plug.

2. Check combustion and gas

parameters.

The flame is lighting but after some seconds the

flame goes off.

1. verify the flame detector cable

2. verify the correct power connection

(see chapter 4.2.5.)

3. replace the flame detector and/or the

combustion control
