5.3.- Basic settings.
5.3.1.- Grinding point adjustment.
The grinder leaves the factory adjusted to work with espresso coffee. Only a fine
adjustment is required to adapt it to the features of the coffee in your coffee maker.
Grind enough coffee to fill your ladle/holder with the usual amount and add to your
coffee maker. If the result is not satisfactory, modify the grinding point as follows:
If the coffee comes out too slowly, turn the knob
3 and the grinding point in direction G.
If the coffee comes out too quickly, turn the
knob 3 and the grinding point in direction F.
For small adjustments to the grinding point,
move the lever to a different position (a click is
heard).
Test the coffee again by repeating the previous
points until the best cup of coffee is obtained.
The grinding point handle has a scale and a dial to note its position.
Once the optimum grinding point has been reached, you can use the supplied
grinding point sticker by matching the zero of the sticker with the dial (see image)
to set the change made.
