Chapter 2
Feature Overview
The 8704 S (Generation 2) Network Video Recorder is a scalable recording platform able to support
both analog and high-resolution IP cameras. This Gen 2 model includes three Ethernet ports: it
includes a camera port, and both a primary network port and a redundant network port, to
safeguard network communication.
This NVR offers outstanding video compression and storage, and can be managed using either the
March Networks Command or the Visual Intelligence video management platforms.
