Remote control (IR)
The supplied infrared remote control permits
most functions of the CDR510 to be controlled
remotely.
The REMOTE EXT / INT (IR) switch (
a
) on the
back of the CDR510 must be at INT (left position)
for the infrared remote to work.
See
Remote batteries
on page 9 for installing or
changing the remote batteries.
Most of the controls on the remote work identi-
cally to the control on the unit. The page number
describing identical functioning unit controls is
given below.
Further instruction is supplied for controls that are
on the remote only or that function differently
from controls on the unit.

RANDOM
Tracks are played at random, from either drive,
for playback. Playback will randomly switch
drives, putting the other drive in Play pause.
Example
display
After a track is played it is removed from being
randomly chosen again until all tracks on both
drives have been played. Playback then auto-
matically stops.
If RANDOM and REPEAT ALL are combined
tracks are played randomly until all tracks have
been played. Then tracks are re-randomized and
play continues.
