Press Enter. The Plane-to-point measurement is defined. The measurement is
entered into the History pane and the subparts are entered into the Primitives
pane.
Measuring the Distance between Two Points

To measure the distance between two points:

Select the
icon on the Measurement toolbar.

Double-click a point in the scene (measurement’s start point).
– OR –
Instead of defining a new point, select a previously defined point in the
Primitives pane by double-clicking the point in the Primitives pane.

Double-click a different point in the scene (measurement’s end point).
– OR –
Instead of defining a new point, select a previously defined point in the
Primitives pane by double-clicking the point in the Primitives pane.
The distance appears in the Viewing Area and Information pane in the
selected measurement unit.
NOTE
Double-click repeatedly until the required points are selected.
