This section only only applies to hydraulic emergency operation in acc. with
BGR 159. Optionally you can also use the emergency operation with the
hand pump;

This emergency operation corresponds to a hydraulic emergency release
according to BGR 159 (4.2.8) and enable a transport of small loads.
14.7.1
Applications and function
The hydraulic emergency operation according to BGR 159 enables the
Emergency operation of the GMK5150L and the Emergency supply of
another truck crane.
Emergency operation
In emergency operation, you can drive the
main hoist, derricking gear and slewing gear.
The energy source for the crane hydraulics is
a transformer (
1 ), which is driven by the car-
rier's hydraulic system in case of self-suffi-
ciency or is driven by a hydraulic external
energy source in case of an external power
supply.
The hydraulic circuits are switched via the
valves (
3 ).
The control lever ( 2 ) is used to control the
direction of movement and the speed.

Risk of accidents due to improper use
Use hydraulic emergency operation only to transport small loads in emer-
gencies. Have the malfunction rectified as soon as possible. Crane opera-
tion in hydraulic emergency operation is prohibited since it is not moni-
tored by the RCL.

Danger from mutual interference of the power units
Check the positions of the valves 1 to 5 for the hydraulic emergency opera-
tion with the hand pump and, if necessary, switch to
