D5 - TRANSMISSION OIL FILTER

- Remove the cover plate 1 (fig. D5/1).
- Unscrew and discard the transmission oil filter 2 (fig. D5/2).
- Carefully clean the filter head with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Slightly lubricate the new seal and fit the seal on the filter (see: 3 - MAINTENANCE:
FILTERS CARTRIDGES AND BELTS).
- Fill up the new transmission oil filter with oil (see: 3 - MAINTENANCE: LUBRICANTS AND
FUEL).
- Refit the filter, making sure that the seal is correctly positioned and tightened.
Tighten the transmission oil filter by hand pressure only and lock the filter in place by a
quarter turn.
- Put back the cover plate 1 (fig. D5/1).

- Disassemble the access panel 1 (fig. D5/1).
- Unscrew and discard the transmission oil filter 2 (fig. D5/2).
- Carefully clean the filter head with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Slightly lubricate the new seal and fit the seal on the filter (see: 3 - MAINTENANCE:
FILTERS CARTRIDGES AND BELTS).
- Refit the filter, making sure that the seal is correctly positioned and tightened.
Tighten the transmission oil filter by hand pressure only and lock the filter in place by a
quarter turn.
- Reassemble the access panel 1 (fig. D5/1).
D6 - MAST LIFTING CHAINS
CLEAN - CHECK - GREASE
- Wipe the mast lifting chains 1 (fig. D6) with a clean, lint-free cloth, then examine them
closely so as to detect any signs of wear.
- Vigorously brush the chains to get rid of any foreign matter, with a hard nylon brush and
clean diesel fuel.
- Rinse the chains by means of a paint brush impregnated with clean diesel fuel and dr y
them with a compressed air jet.
- Moderately lubricate the chains (see: 3 - MAINTENANCE: LUBRICANTS AND FUEL).
In case of technical faults, consult your dealer.
