3. GAS CARTRIDGE
Use a High Performance Iso-Butane / Propane gas cartridge. (not
supplied).
An Iso-Butane gas cartridge will pack inside pot.
Store cartridge below 40 degrees Celsius / 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cartridge must conform to EN417 or AS2278 standard. It may be
hazardous to fit other types of gas cartridges.
4. ASSEMBLY
Refer to the diagrams above and Section 10 (page 2) to view the
assembly and packing of the Primal Ridge Mammoth 1100ml Solo
Cooking System.
When unpacking contents, check the
control valve
in the Burner
Assembly (2) is closed. (Turn clock wise to close)
Before connecting the gas cartridge ensure the
O-ring
(located under
control valve) is in good condition and seated properly in the control
valve. If the O-ring is damaged, worn or leaking do not use this
appliance.
When installing the gas cartridge (3), remove the
cartridge dust cap
and screw securely to the Burner Assembly (2). Do not over tighten.
When installing and dismantling the gas cartridge there may be a
small release of gas. Install the cartridge stand (4) by unfolding the
legs and attaching to the gas cartridge (3).

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This product is for OUTDOOR USE ONLY. Only use in well ventilated
area. Do not use in tents or inclosed spaces.
Check that the seal in the burner assembly is in good condition
before connecting to the gas cartridge.
Check the stove is in good condition before use.
Do not burn with empty pot as this may damage the pot or cause fire.
Do not heat continuously for long periods as this may damage the
burner and pot.
If there is a smell of gas, do not attempt to light appliance. Extinguish
any open flame and disconnect from fuel supply.
Do not store with other flammable liquids or vapours.
Keep out of reach from children.
WARNING - CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD.
This appliance produces carbon monoxide,
that has no odour. Using it in an enclosed
space can kill you. Never use this appliance in
an enclosed space such as a camper, tent or
home.

2. CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD
Always operate the cookware on a firm, level surface.
Stainless Steel Pot support:
The pot support (5) can be used for
various pots other than the Primal Ridge Mammoth 1100 ml
cookware. Unfold pot support, place it on top of burner assembly (5).
Confirm that the support is fully attached, seated and stable.
5. OPERATION WARNINGS
Always change the gas cartridge outside in a well ventilated location,
away from any ignition sources, such as open fire.
Do not leave the cookware unattended while in use.
If you smell gas or hear gas escaping before the control valve is open,
do not attempt to light the burner. Confirm that the gas cartridge is
properly secured to the burner assembly and the control valve is
closed by turning it clockwise.
If you still smell gas, remove the fuel cartridge and refer to trouble
shooting section. To check if gas cartridge is empty, lightly shake gas
cartridge and listen for noise.
6. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the cookware on a horizontal / flat surface away from any
combustable material. The cookware should not be moved or tilted
during cooking to remove any risk of flaring.
The Primal Ridge cooking system does not require any kind of wind
screening. Always operate in well ventilated area and allow good
air flow to remove any risk of overheating. Overheating may cause
the gas cartridge to explode.
Always light the burner before placing the pot on the burner. Make
sure the burner is at arms length, away from your face, during
ignition.
Lighting the burner.
Turn the
control valve
counter clockwise to
allow gas flow and press the
Piezo lighter
to ignite the burner.
Adjust the flame setting by using the
control valve
. Counter
clockwise for high heat setting and clockwise for low heat setting.
Do not move, lift or tilt burner when cooking. Fuel can spray and
cause flare ups.
Do not use burner with empty pot as this may damage the pot or
cause fire. Always add liquids or liquid food to pot before applying
heat to cook.
Do not overfill pot to avoid boil over. Place pot (1) on top of the
burner assembly (2) using the locating lugs and gently turn
clockwise to lock into place.
When using the stainless steel pot supports (5): Never use a
cooking pan that is too large or heavy. Make sure the pot is a
suitable size and stable prior to use.
Always use the pot support legs and make sure the legs are
unfolded completely (4) and the gas cartridge is seated securely
and properly onto the pot support before placing pots onto the
burner.
7. STORAGE AFTER USE
To extinguish the flame turn
control valve
clockwise till control
valve is closed. Remove cooking pot (1) from burner assembly (2).
Allow the pot and burner assembly sufficient time to cool
completely before packing. Always check that the burner (2) is
extinguished properly before disconnecting the gas cartridge (3).
Remove the cartridge stand (4) from gas cartridge (3) and fold legs.
Always remove the gas cartridge after use. Unscrew the gas
cartridge (3) from burner assembly (2) and replace the
plastic dust
cap
on gas cartridge for storage. For instructions on how to pack for
storage follow the illustration shown in section 10. Store gas
cartridge in a dry, well ventilated area, away from any heat source
and out of reach of children.
Cleaning Instructions:
Hand wash with soapy warm water. Do not
use in dishwasher or clean with abrasive materials such as scouring
pads as this may damage the pot.
8. TROUBLE SHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not modify this appliance. Modifications can be hazardous and
will void the warranty. This product should be used in accordance
with these instructions and where a problem cannot be corrected
using these instructions contract Primal Ridge.
Where the burner assembly is not operating correctly, check to
ensure that air holes are not blocked and the jet is not dirty or
contaminated.
O-ring:
If the
O-ring
is damaged or cracked, contact Primal Ridge
for service.
Flame does not extinguish:
The
Control Valve
may be damaged.
Tighten valve as much as possible, blow out flame, and
immediately detach fuel cartridge. Contact Primal Ridge.
9. WARRANTY INFORMATION
If you find any fault or problem with your purchase please email us
immediately at [email protected] We will do our absolute
best to correct any problem. Make sure you tell us your Amazon
order number and provide a picture of the problem. We will then
replace the product right away.
The Primal Ridge Mammoth 1100 ml has a 1 year warranty. Should
this product not function properly under normal use within 1 year
of purchase, contact Primal Ridge at [email protected].
Primal Ridge will replace the unit free of charge. The warranty
applies only to the original purchaser. The warranty does not cover
any issue arising from misuse, modification, improper
maintenance, negligence, normal wear and tear, accident or use
other than as described in these instructions.
