Getting started
Press the ON/OFF button to switch the power on. The display will initially show
OFF , indicating that no speed has been set.
Choosing a rotational speed
The shear rate is directly proportional to the rotational speed. Use the SPEED
switch to select the speed at which the upper measuring system will turn.
Eight speeds are available in a specific progression scale as shown below:

shown on the display (to display this value use the
FUNCTION button as
described in Chapter 2 ).
