Detail Enhance
This filter works by
identifying sharp edge
boundaries in the image,
such as the edge
between a subject and a
background of a
contrasting color and
increasing the image
contrast in the area
immediately around the
edge. This has the effect
of creating subtle bright and dark highlights on either side of any edges in the
image, called overshoot and undershoot, leading the edge to look more
defined when viewed from a typical viewing distance.
Choose either a
Recursive
or the
Normalized Convolution
. By adjusting the
Spatial Sigma
(like the domain) and the
Range Sigma
, you can affect how many
pixels the algorithm uses when applying the smoothing.
Rotate
This control allows you to rotate and or flip your image
across an axis.
Your options include:
➢
Rotate the image 90 degrees Clockwise (CW)
➢
Rotate the image 180 degrees Clockwise (CW)
➢
Rotate the image 270 degrees Clockwise (CW)
➢
Rotate the image an Arbitrary amount
To
Rotate
the image a specified
amount (in
degrees
) in a chosen
direction (
clockwise
or
counterclockwise
),
Left-Click
on the
Arbitrary
control. When this option is
selected, the
Image Rotate Window
will popup, where you can enter in
the required values. You also have
two redrawing algorithm choice for it
to use when rotating the image
(
Bilinea
r or
Bicubic
).
Bicubic
seems to
be better for images, but it is your
choice that counts.
