Tu rn th e shear b lades upside do wn and install it so that
pin o n the tool fit in the hole in the shea r blades. Fit the
ben t pa rt of the base p late of the shea r blad es to the
gro ove in the tool housing. Then make sure th at the base
plate of the sh ear blades is set in place.

Pre ss the unde rcover do wn a nd with the u ndercover
pre ssed down turn th e un dercover clockwise until the
symbol on the labe l is alig ned with the symbol

the locking lever (the undercover is completely locked.).

At this time, make sure that the lo ckimg le ver fits in the
gro ove in the undercover.
CAUTIO N:
Never use the tool without insta lling the unde rco ver
on it.
Remove the b lade cover a nd then tur n on the tool to
check it for prope r movement.
NOTE:
When the shea r blades doe s n ot o perate prop erly,
there is a p oor fit betwe en th e blades and crank.

The hook hole in the tool bottom is convenie nt for
han ging th e tool from a nail or screw on th e wall.
Put th e blade cove r on the shear bla des so that the
blad es are not exposed. Store the too l out o f the reach o f
childre n carefully.
