INSTALLATION

BRICK PANeL INSTALLATION

Kit contents:

1, Rear Panel 

2, Upper Brick Retainer Brackets

2, Front Brick Retainer Brackets

4, Self-tapping Screws
1.  Remove brick panels and retainers from packaging.
2.  Remove two (2) screws on each side of front edge of 

chamber. 

3.  Install one (1) front brick retainer bracket on each side 

with the screws removed in Step 2. 

4.  Carefully set rear brick panel with notch up on log sup-

port. 

5.  Carefully  place  right  or  left  side  brick  panel  in  place 

making sure front edge of brick is behind the front brick 

retainer bracket. 

6.  Using  self-tapping  screw,  install  upper  brick  retainer 

bracket (with two (2) holes and slot with the long side 

down into the top of the inner chamber. 

7.  Using  self-tapping  screw,  install  lower  brick  retainer 

bracket (smaller bracket) into the log support bracket 

centered on brick panel. 

8.  Repeat Steps 6 & 7 for remaining side.

IMPORTANT:

 The fireplace must have an approved brick 

kit or porcelain panel kit installed before operation.

INTAKe/exhAuST  MANIFOLD  ReMOVAL 

AND VeNT INSTALLATION

The intake/exhaust manifold is shipped attached to insert. 

It may be removed to allow tight installation. 
1.  Unfasten the two (2) machine screws on the face of the 

unit and release the plate assembly by sliding the plate 

back.

2.  Attach the exhaust and the intake flex pipes to the collar 

on the plates with a hose clamp (not provided) or other 

approved methods (check local codes). 

3.  Slide  plate  assembly  back  in  place  under  locating 

tabs.

4.  While sliding unit in place, if necessary the glass latch/

shutoff tool can be used to help place the plate assem-

bly. Using the small end of the tool, insert it in the square 

notch in top front of firebox. Hook the plate assembly 

with tool and pull forward into place while sliding firebox 

to the rear.
